What makes Chapel Down Chardonnay Wine special?
"A classic style of unoaked Chardonnay ideal for pairing with food."
Burgundian clone Chardonnay vines grown on chalk on the North Kent Downs. The 2014 growing season was warm, sunny and dry, yielding grapes of exceptional balance and concentration. The hand-picked grapes were whole-bunch pressed and fermented at a cool temperature. Full malolactic fermentation followed as did extended maturation on lees prior to bottling.
